I was hoping I could pull some spares, but shit, there's really not much left here. Maybe I could get that brake caliper...

Ouch. Looks like somebody might have passed away in there.

Forget that. Look what else they have!

The only good part I see is the left rear taillight housing. The intergated jack might be alright also.

I may just have to make a call on this one. Doesn't look bad, but that probably means the issues are mechanical.

That's what I was thinking. Off the top of my head I can think of about 5 engines you could try squeezing in there.

Sadly, it does not look deep enough for a rotary swap. I'm sure though it would happily accommodate many common tuner swaps (looks like it could hold an LS or a 2JZ pretty easily)

I was thinking of things a little less common but more fitting. VR4 drivetrain... 4G63... Evo powerplant... Probably a lot more work to pull off, but pretty Jalop swaps.

Not sure how easy it is to put a transverse mounted engine into a vehicle designed for a longitudinal. I was trying to think of good longitudinally mounted mitsu engines and came up with nothing.

All those engines were setup for awd so I don't think it would be as hard as a true fwd transverse engine. It wouldn't be easy, but it would be cool.
